Is poor nutrition affecting your athlete's personal performance? Do you know what nutrients will optimize performance during competitions/practices? This 3-week (1hr/week) service provides hands-on personal guidance in helping your athlete improve their eating habits through practical, age-appropriate nutrition coaching. Issues addressed include eating for athletic events, pre/post practice snacks, on the go foods, essential nutrients for proper growth and development, and proper hydration for peak performance. During these three weeks the athlete will be asked to adhere to the dietitian's recommendations and track how he/she feels during/after performance. This will allow for individualized nutritional recommendations to optimize performance.
